Simple Advent Wreath Prayers for Meaningful Preparation
Advent is a time of waiting, of hope, of anticipation — a beautiful time of simplicity and peace as we await the birth of our Savior.
This prayer resource is designed to be used alongside an Advent candle wreath, with a prayer and reflection for each day (Monday-Saturday during Advent) and a unique prayer for each of the four Sundays in Advent.

Charity, love of God and neighbor, is taught both in word and action — through sharing stories from the day, praying together for those most in need, and educating our families about how we can help those who are suffering. But, beyond prayer and sharing, there are many tangible things families can do to teach charity from the table — for example sharing their food with those in need.
Without doubt we can always meet the Lord Jesus in the intimacy of prayer. He is there to listen to our worries, calm our fears, and offer us hope — He will never leave us abandoned or alone. But, especially given current events, we can turn to our friends the saints for their intercession as well.
The Sunflower Center is a multi-faceted mission in the heart of the Philippines that offers therapeutic healing and other needed resources to children who have suffered traumatic, life-altering abuse and neglect. One of the children who has been helped by the staff at the Sunflower Center is Johnny*, and this is his story of unthinkable suffering that ultimately ends in restoration and hope.
