The Bethany Center is a network of ministries dedicated to offering pre and post natal medical care to expectant mothers in Guatemala. We also offer skills training, regular meals, and a place for joyful community for impoverished families who are struggling to feed their children.

UNDERSTANDING
THE NEED

Nearly 30 out of 1,000 mothers in Guatemala will lose their baby due to a lack of basic education, hygiene, and medical care.

Of children who are safely born, 50% will face chronic malnutrition between the ages of 0-5 and will suffer permanent, long-term physical consequences from the lack of proper nutrition.

Impoverished Mothers and Babies in Guatemala

We serve mothers and children who need medical care, food, and a place for community and skill building.

UNDERSTANDING OUR GOALS

  1. We want to offer medical care and intervention to expectant mothers.

  2. We want to provide food, shelter, basic skills training, and community for our families.

  3. We want to finish construction of facilities at our new rural location in the mountains.
