St. Lorenzo Ruiz Novena

Defender of the Faith and Patron Saint of Migrants

Help us bring healing to the Church

The Catholic Church is facing a time of great difficulty, scandal, pain, and confusion. Many Catholics are wrestling with anger and doubt. It is especially during these times that we must turn to our brothers and sisters in Christ, the saints, and ask for the intercession of these heroic men and women who have gone before us in the faith and who stayed close to Christ through their lives.

During this novena, we will ask for the intercession of one of these powerful saints, the first canonized saint from the Philippines, St. Lorenzo Ruiz.

1600

St. Lorenzo Ruiz was born in the year 1600. His family was devoutly Catholic.

St. Lorenzo and his companions died a slow, horrible death at the hands of their persecutors. They died as martyrs on September 29, 1637.

Join us as we ask St. Lorenzo Ruiz's powerful intercession to heal the Church.
