Missionary life is difficult, but life-changing. Missionhurst offers two options for those who want to go: become a missionary, or visit the field with a partner.
Partners Who Go
We don’t currently offer opportunities for short-term mission trips and volunteer experiences; however, you can volunteer through organizations who partner with some of our sites around the world. We don’t necessarily endorse these organizations, so please use your best judgment when planning trips.

To sponsor a missionary, you make a commitment to contribute a minimum of $50 a month, but can contribute more as you are able. Your contribution will support a pool of needs that includes your missionary project and CICM's most critical mission priorities.
Vocations
Missionaries embrace the full life of Christ and the apostles, including the real possibility of ultimate humiliation and death. From the Boxer Rebellion in 1880s China to imprisonment and assassination in 1980s Guatemala, Missionhurst missionaries continue to lay down their lives. But the rewards are immense: a strong sense of brotherhood, union with Christ, and life everlasting.
